Engineering Technician
Summary
Responsible for supporting a fast-paced engineering development team with prototype build, test, boat rigging, and production hand assembly responsibilities.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Close working relationship with project and design engineers
- Test implementation and coordination with failure mode and reporting responsibility
- Prototype build and development
- Production assembly build (engines preferred)
- Prototype fabrication including machining, welding, and fitting
- Customer service and in-field repair as required
- Development support responsibilities
- Other product development, testing, and production type responsibilities

Excellent hands-on development and assembly skills. Thrive in a fast-paced team environment with the ability to work with tight deadlines and high expectations. Seeking a self-motivated fast learner with a demonstrated background in mechanical hands-on proficiency.
Qualifications
- Knowledge of engines and/or marine propulsion
- Proficient hands-on fabrication and assembly skills
- Boat rigging experience preferred
- Engineering development and test implementation and reporting experience
- Demonstrated time management skills
- Experience troubleshooting and solving performance issues
- Ability to work off-shift and after hours to support product launch (minimal)
A strong candidate will also have:
- Self-motivating personality with a strong desire to advance and exceed expectations
- Welding and machining capabilities
- Computer and electronics proficiency
- Racing or other high-performance hobbies
